Swarthmore Parrish Hall
Located in the heart of the Swarthmore College campus, Parrish Hall is the original building and serves as a divider between residential and academic spaces.
Tasked with providing the HVAC upgrades and renovations to the Parrish Hall dormitory, the Worth team supported the project from conceptual estimating through project completion by utilizing its advanced capabilities and vast resources.
The Swarthmore Parrish Hall project involved assessing the current system and identifying efficient routes to run the pipe from the basement to the fan coil units in the dorm rooms and looping through the attic. Working closely with engineers and other contractors onsite, Worth & Company’s project team executed the installation process meticulously, ensuring minimal disruption to administration and students onsite. Upon completion, the dorm’s updated HVAC system provided improved comfort and contributed to the college’s sustainability efforts.
The overall project involved complete cosmetic renovations to the dorm rooms and bathrooms. Worth played a key role in making sure this project met a very strict deadline, and college students could move in on time.
