The Delaware Solid Waste Authority project involved the new construction of a 1.7-million-gallon leachate storage tank at Central Solid Waste Management Center in Fenton, Delaware. Worth & Company was responsible for the demolition of the existing leachate tanks, installation of new leachate tanks, which consisted of a primary containment tank and a secondary containment tank consisting of 2-million-gallon capacity. Included in our scope was dual containment HDPE yard piping, precast concrete vault installation, electrical and control work.
