Great Wolf Lodge Waterpark & Hotel
The Great Wolf Lodge Waterpark & Hotel project involved the construction of a 126,000 waterpark and 700-room hotel and resort.
Worth & Company’s Mechanical and Industrial teams were responsible for providing the HVAC and plumbing, including the installation of all equipment, pumps, and piping in the mechanical room and all above and below-ground pool piping in the waterpark area.
The newest and largest Great Wolf Lodge facility has been constructed and open as of the summer of 2023 in Perryville Maryland. The facility consists of a 126,000 – square foot indoor waterpark, kept at 84 degrees all year round, with 9 different pool structures, including a 700-room resort, a family entertainment center and several restaurants. Worth & Company’s Mechanical department was awarded the HVAC and Plumbing project in June of 2021 directly working for Turner Construction, Aquatic HVAC for Neuman Pools and the Industrial department, September of 2021 working directly for Neuman Pools. On the plumbing side, Worth was responsible for all the Underground and Above Ground plumbing rough in and finishes. On the HVAC side for Turner, Worth was contracted for all the HVAC Piping and sheetmetal rough in and finish work, along with the Aquatic Duct work and mechanical piping for Neuman Pools. Worth was responsible for all the underground, above ground piping, and the piping in the mechanical room that was associated with the pools.
Worth & Company was able to stay ahead of the project schedule while performing the highest quality of workmanship- opening the doors for future work with Turner Construction, Neuman Pools and Great Wolf Lodge. With collaboration amongst all project stakeholders, this project was completed ahead of schedule utilizing Worth’s fabrication shop to cut down field durations leading to the success of all parties involved.
