Worth & Company was charged to recommend a Water Source Heat Pump (WSHP) designed system for heating and cooling that could be easily monitored for billing, quiet operation, and did not utilize any valuable floor space. Worth & Company recommended a Variable Refrigerant System (VRF) installation. This system, manufactured by LG, includes: ten (10) condensing units, zoned per floor, with 121 heat pump zoned spaces. The sustainable design provides simultaneous heating and cooling which enables cooling on the sunny side of the building while transferring heat to the more shaded side.
The piping and duct design allowed Worth usage of its on-site prefabrication and manufacturing facility. This was beneficial for the project through reduced field labor, condensed schedule, increased product and service quality; and most importantly, increased safety.
An experienced Worth team worked cohesively and diligently; and as a direct result, played a key role in the project’s success.
